Remedial Massage

About Massage Therapy

Massage uses a series of techniques to calm the nervous system, loosen muscles and tendons and improve circulation. When used as an adjunct to other manual therapies such as osteopathy, it can help reduce inflammatory states, increase blood flow to injured sites, and help restore movement in a shortened period of time.

OSTEOPATH

Tristan has been developing his manual therapy skills for many years at various Osteo clinics around Melbourne.

Why did he choose Osteopathy? That’s actually a straight-forward answer. Tristan had identified a career objective for himself considering the extensive time we spend in work. He realised he was seeking a rewarding career in the health and well-being industry where he could make a difference to people’s lives for the better. Hence his choice to become an Osteopath.

Given his studies (aside from Osteopathy) in Sports Therapy, Personal Training and Fitness, Tristan has a considerable background of knowledge in working with sports people and assisting their injury recovery and rehab. He also loves working out spinal problems with his clients given its stretch across our society, enabling many to return to their activities of choice in good time.

Rodel is a current 5th year Osteopathy student at RMIT University. He takes pride in his position as an osteopath with an enthusiastic interest in shoulder presentations and strives to promote optimal health within the community. Rodel believes that Osteopathy is a modality that considers the holistic approach to a persons health, and not merely the presence of the pain they experience. Equipped with the passion to help others, Rodel enjoys assisting people with understanding their situation and providing education on how osteopaths can play a role.
