Remedial Massage

About Massage Therapy

Massage uses a series of techniques to calm the nervous system, loosen muscles and tendons and improve circulation. When used as an adjunct to other manual therapies such as osteopathy, it can help reduce inflammatory states, increase blood flow to injured sites, and help restore movement in a shortened period of time.

Dr. Erin Tout, Ballarat Osteopath
“I’m dedicated to educating people about their condition and taking a proactive approach to treatment.”

Erin completed her five years of Osteopathic study at RMIT University Bundoora, Victoria. She is dedicated to educating the community about their bodies and what osteopathy can do for anyone. Osteopathic treatment can be adapted to suit the condition and the individual, and she believes strongly that, in the right hands, the potential for healing is endless. Erin has a keen interest for the treatment of headaches and migraines, pre and post natal women, sporting injuries and back pain.

Bridie completed her five years of osteopathy at RMIT Bundoora. Her love of sport, particularly basketball and AFL, is what drew her to the career of osteopathy.
She is passionate about working with patients of all ages to help them reach their goals and get them back to what they love doing. Bridie has developed an interest in headaches, jaw and rib pain and uses her skills in hands on techniques, as well as postural, exercise and lifestyle advice to assist in pain management and prevention.
Bridie is also qualified to use dry needling and myofascial cupping as part of her treatments.

Rodel takes pride in his position as an Osteopath with an enthusiastic interest in shoulder presentations and strives to promote optimal health within the community. Rodel believes that Osteopathy is a modality that considers the holistic approach to a persons health, and not merely the presence of the pain they experience. Equipped with the passion to help others, Rodel enjoys assisting people with understanding their situation and providing education on how osteopaths can play a role.
